Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP)


Mission: To create and provide a healthy installation environment, free of substance abuse and substance abuse related problems for servicemen and women, civilian employees, retirees and their families. Our mission is to identify, treat and rehabilitate substance abusers at Fort Lee; to strengthen the overall fitness and effectiveness of the Army's total workforce; and to enhance the combat readiness of its Soldiers.

Online Training

The ASAP Office offers online training to assist Department of the Army Civilians and military personnel in meeting the drug and alcohol training requirements outlined in Army Regulation 600-85, paragraph 2-6. The regulation states that each Soldier is required to receive four hours of alcohol and drug training per fiscal year, and each DA Civilian is required to receive two hours per fiscal year.
