Combined Arms Support Command

CASCOM provides Training and Leader Development, and develops concepts, doctrine organizations, life-long learning, and materiel solutions, to provide the Combat Service Support to sustain a campaign quality Army with joint and expeditionary capabilities.

U. S. Army Quartermaster School
The Quartermaster School is a subordinate command of the United States Army's Combined Arms Support Command. QMS trains soldiers, civilians, and members of other Services and Nations in QM skills and functions. In addition to training, the QMS has command of the 23d Quartermaster Brigade and serves as a proponent on all QM matters. QMS is located at Fort Lee, Virginia.
- Vision: Supporting Victory! A World-Class organization that trains and develops Quartermaster Warriors capable of sustaining the Army and Joint Forces in the full spectrum of operations.
- Mission: Provide Quartermaster Warriors who are tactically and technically proficient leaders and Soldiers; develop and sustain adaptive Quartermaster battlefield functions that are globally executable by the joint war fighter to ensure mission success.
Defense Commissary Agency
The Defense Commissary Agency with headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia, operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. Authorized patrons purchase items at cost plus a 5–percent surcharge, which covers the costs of building new commissaries and modernizing existing ones. Shoppers save an average of more than 30 percent on their purchases compared to commercial prices—savings worth about $3,400 annually for a family of four. A core military family support element, and a valued part of military pay and benefits, commissaries contribute to family readiness, enhance the quality of life for America's military and their families, and help recruit and retain the best and brightest men and women to serve their country.
